The Trunk Protecta® protects trees from abrasion and accidental damage caused by vehicles and construction traffic, ideal for roadside site entrances or areas where standard tree fencing isn't possible.

Suitable for trees with a trunk diameter (DBH) of 100–160cm, with quick-release straps for a secure fit on smaller trees. Multiple units can be combined for larger trees. The standard 1.2m height protects the most vulnerable section of the trunk, with a 1.8m variant available for enhanced coverage.

Easy to install, the Trunk Protecta® is hi-vis orange with reflective tape banding for maximum visibility on site. It prevents trunk wounds that could damage the cambium layer, leaving trees vulnerable to disease and decay.

Compliant with BS5837:2012 (clause 5.5.2), it is designed for use alongside ground protection where a full construction exclusion zone cannot be maintained.
