What Telehandler Will I Need for my Construction Project?
If you need to do a lot of loading, unloading, moving or placing, you’ll more than likely need a telescopic handler to help on your construction site. At FTH Hire Group, we have an excellent selection of Telehandlers of all different sizes. So we will almost certainly have one to suit your construction project.
From the smaller 4m Telehandler to the larger and stronger 18m Telehandler, we have a number of different sizes to suit whatever you’re working on. In order to help you decide on what machine you’ll need, it’s best to check your load charts. The smaller telehandlers have more limits on how much they can lift. So we strongly recommend hiring a higher spec machine to keep operating safely and allow for a margin for error.
Telehandlers and Load Limits
The smallest, 4m handler can safely handle 2000KG. These machines are best if you have smaller loads where space might be tight on your construction site. On the other end of the scale, our largest telehandler can handle 4000KG.
We have a number of handlers in between these machines, so if you’re looking for the perfect balance between size and maximum load, you can check our telehandler pages.
Extra Accessories for Telehandler Hire
When arranging telehandler hire, you might also need to think about accessories to get it working as required on your site. This could include items such as extension forks, a lifting hook, tipping skip or a man riding cage.
