Coronavirus Covid-19 Update

We would like to take the opportunity to keep you informed with the current situation here at FTH Hire Group during these challenging times.

 

The government has classified us as an essential business, as we provide vital equipment to other business who ensure the public are kept safe. We are supporting essential service providers, local NHS facilities and trades who provide services which keep our infrastructure operational.

 

We have carefully considered how we continue to support all our customers, colleagues and local communities. At FTH we will do our best to help however we can.

 

OUR HIRE HUBS REMAIN OPEN + BOOK & COLLECT SERVICE

Currently, all of our Hire Hubs remain operational, however all customers should use our Book & Collect service (or book a delivery). Book & Collect orders can be placed up to 5pm the previous day and we will have it ready for you by the next day.

If you need to visit one of our locations, please contact your Hire Hub before you arrive and ensure you follow all hygiene and social distancing guidelines when on site.

 

GUARANTEED DELIVERY

We are still providing our guaranteed delivery service, allowing us to quickly and reliably deliver directly to you or your site. All our vehicles are cleaned daily and drivers are following all sensible hygiene measures.

 

ESSENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS – 24HR SUPPORT

To ensure we further support essential service providers, we have set up an emergency 24hr hotline number. FTH Hire Group have introduced this to help you with any emergencies that may crop up. Call us out of hours on: 01252 916 295.

RELIABLE EQUIPMENT

Our modern fleet of reliable equipment is proving itself invaluable. Fewer breakdowns means less delays on site, but also reduces the need for service technicians to attend, which importantly reduced social contact.

 

MAINTENANCE SUPPORT

Within all our Hire Hubs we have fully qualified mechanics and technicians. Currently, we are offering small plant and tools servicing / repair and electrical testing on customer equipment. If needed, we can collect and return your items. For more information and to book this service, please contact your local Hire Hub.

 

HYGIENE + SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • All staff are following best hygiene and social distancing practices (minimum of 2m between people). Additional soap and sanitisers have been made widely available across the company and clear guidance has been issued to all employees
  • Customer hand washing facilities are available in all locations
  • Where possible, all equipment will be steam cleaned and wiped down
  • All our delivery vehicles will be cleaned daily.

 

Operating from several sites means we are confident that our operation and supply to you will continue unaffected. We are constantly monitoring the situation to make sure that we continue to do everything we can to support our customers. As necessary, we will make changes to keep everyone safe.
